
Rapids Trade Defender Hunter Freeman to Red Bull New York

Commerce City, Colorado (Friday, March 23, 2007) - The Colorado Rapids today traded defender Hunter Freeman to Red Bull New York for two draft picks over the next two years.
Colorado received the Red Bulls' natural third round draft pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft and a fourth round draft pick in the 2009 Supplemental Draft.
Freeman played in 47 games over two seasons for the Rapids and contributed an assist in each season. The University of Virginia product played a total of 3,348 minutes for Colorado.
