Center - Kevin Porter

San Antonio center Kevin Porter has been on a Rampage of late, tallying two goals and three assists for five points in his last four games.

The Plymouth, Michigan native is tied for the team lead in points (17) and leads the team in assists (11) in 2009-10 thus far. Porter recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Thursday, Dec. 3 @ Houston Aeros, Toyota Center, 11 a.m.

Friday, Dec. 4 vs. Houston Aeros, AT&T Center, 7 p.m. The Rampage will play back-to-back "Lone Star Faceoff- games against Houston on Thursday and Friday. This season, San Antonio holds a record of 0-3-1-0 against the Aeros, including a 0-1-1-0 record at the AT&T Center and a 0-2-0-0 at Toyota Center.

Sunday, Dec. 5 vs. Texas Stars, AT&T Center, 5:00 p.m.

San Antonio will host the West Division-leading Texas Stars in a "Lone Star Faceoff- matchup on Sunday afternoon at the AT&T Center. This season, the Rampage are 1-2-1-0 against Texas and 1-2-0-0 against the Stars in the Alamo City. The Rampage trail Texas by 17 points in the West Division standings.

ELF LOUISE SUNDAY: This Sunday fans who bring a packaged toy to the game, to be donated to Elf Louise, will receive a voucher good for any 2009-10Rampage home game. Fans can also enjoy a complimentary pre- game skate from 3-4 p.m.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT 09-10

POWERFUL PLAY: Left wing Brett MacLean tallied two power-play goals on Saturday and leads the team with five power-play goals in 2009-10.

STREAK SNAPPING: With their 5-1 victory over Milwaukee on Saturday night, San Antonio snapped an 11-game (0-9-1-1) winless streak and Ray Edwards recorded his first AHL win as head coach for the Rampage.

EARLY ADVANTAGE: San Antonio is 6-0-1-0 this season when scoring first in a contest and 3-0-0-0 when leading after the first period.

SPECIAL TEAMS: San Antonio is currently ranked 17th overall on the power play (14.6%) and 14th overall on the penalty kill (83.8%). The Rampage have been strong on the penalty kill away from the AT&T Center and are now among the top 10 teams (ninth) in road penalty killing (85.7%).

COYOTE WATCH: The Phoenix Coyotes, San Antonio's NHL parent club, currently hold a 15-11-1 record through 27 games and presently sit in a tie for third place in the NHL's Pacific Division with 31 standings points. On Sunday, Phoenix defeated the Anaheim Ducks in overtime by a 3-2 score at Honda Center in Anaheim.
