Canucks Assign Rome To Moose For Conditioning

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have assigned defenceman Aaron Rome to the Moose for conditioning.

Rome, 26, has played in 10 games so far this season with the Canucks where he has collected one assist and four penalty minutes. In 36 NHL games with Vancouver, Columbus and Anaheim in his six year pro career, the Nesbitt, MB native has scored four points (1g & 3a) and 37 penalty minutes. Rome has also played in 318 career games in the American Hockey League between Cincinnati, Portland and Syracuse. In that span, he has recorded 122 points (27g & 95a) along with 666 penalty minutes.

Rome was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the fourth round, 104th overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
