November 26, 2014 - American Hockey League (AHL)
San Antonio Rampage News Release
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 26, 2014) - The San Antonio Rampage will host their 10th annual Teddy Bear Toss, presented by H-E-B, on Saturday when they host the Oklahoma City Barons at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
Fans who bring a new, unwrapped stuffed animal to the game are eligible to receive 25 percent off their ticket at the AT&T Center Box Office on the day of the game. In addition, the first 1,000 fans through the door will receive a teddy bear to throw on the ice courtesy of H-E-B.
Fans will toss the teddy bears on the ice when the Rampage score their first goal of the game, and the bears will be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program. A select number of bears will be donated to kids at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio on Monday, Dec. 8 from 2-3 p.m. as the team makes its annual holiday visit to the hospital.
The Toys for Tots mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as holiday gifts to needy children in the community, sending a message of hope to youngsters.
The Rampage play two home games to close out the month of November, hosting the Barons on Saturday at 7 p.m. and the Iowa Wild on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 4 p.m., which will also be an Express-News Sunday Funday at the AT&T Center. Individual and season tickets can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at sarampage.com .
