
Rampage Sign Jacob Deserres to ATO

SAN ANTONIO (March 18, 2015) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Eric Joyce announced today that club has signed goalie Jacob DeSerres to an amateur tryout contract. Additionally, Joe Howe has been released from his professional tryout contract.
DeSerres, 25, just wrapped up a four-year career at the University of Calgary where he posted a 2.10 goals against average and a .914 save percentage through 48 career games.
A third-round (84th overall) pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2008 NHL Draft, DeSerres spent nearly five seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL), and played one season with the Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL), where he finished with a 2.22 goals against average and a .916 save percentage.
The Rampage travel to Oklahoma City for a tilt with the Oklahoma City Barons on Friday night before hosting the Hamilton Bulldogs for a two-game weekend series on Saturday and Sunday.
