Springfield Falcons Ink Forward Tyler Sikura to ATO

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons have inked forward Tyler Sikura to an amateur try-out contract, Falcons Director of Hockey Operations Bruce Landon announced today.

Sikura, 22, has appeared in 33 games with Dartmouth College of the ECAC this season, posting 10-14-24 along with 16 penalty minutes and a +8 rating. In his four seasons with Dartmouth, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound forward has skated in 125 contests, earning 36-56-92 with 61 penalty minutes.

Prior to his collegiate career, the Aurora, Ontario native spent two seasons with the Newmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, recording 32-57-89 and 18 penalty minutes in 88 games.
