Friday, March 13: Hershey 2, Binghamton 1

Shots: Hershey 32, Binghamton 22

PP: Hershey 1 for 6, Binghamton 0 for 5

The Binghamton Senators failed to rally from a two-goal first period deficit as the Hershey Bears held on for a 2-1 lead. Two early first period strikes proved to be the difference maker as the B-Sens and Peter Mannino held the visitors scoreless over the final fifty-plus minutes of play.

With the Bears on the early first period power play, Chris Brown gave Hershey the 1-0 lead just over four minutes into the frame. Just shy of the seven-minute mark, the Bears doubled their lead when Casey Wellman poked home a centering feed from Tim Kennedy for his 21st goal of the year. Pheonix Copley stopped all 10 of Binghamton's shots in the opening period to give Hershey the 2-0 lead heading into the first intermission.

Following a scoreless second period, Brad Mills swiped home a loose puck in the Bears' crease to cut the deficit to 2-1. Copley corralled the few remaining shots from the B-Sens to preserve the victory for the visitors.

Mannino finished with 30 saves while Copley stopped 21 of 22 shots for his 12th victory of the year.

Saturday, March 14: Hartford 4, Binghamton 3

Shots: Hartford 27, Binghamton 40

PP: Hartford 1 for 3, Binghamton 0 for 3

The B-Sens dropped a one-goal game on home ice for the second consecutive night as the Hartford Wolf Pack defeated their hosts 4-3. Hartford managed to score a pair of goals in a high-paced middle frame to break a 2-2 tie and capture the win.

Binghamton opened the scoring 6:58 into the first period after Cole Schneider knocked home his team-leading 20th goal of the season. With the Wolf Pack's defense on its heels, Carter Camper fed a backdoor pass to Schneider who slapped it home to give Binghamton the 1-0 lead. Hartford responded less than three minutes later after Chris Mueller took a cross-ice feed from Chris Bourque with a delayed penalty pending against the B-Sens and roofed the puck over Scott Greenham for his 11th of the season. Binghamton regained the lead at the 15:35 mark of the first after Shane Prince redirected a shot from Patrick Mullen past Yann Danis to make it 2-1. With Hartford working the power play, Ryan Haggerty notched his first of two goals on the evening with less than three minutes to play in the first to send the teams to the intermission tied 2-2.

Haggerty gave the Wolf Pack their first lead of the night with his second score of the game three minutes into the middle frame, but Ryan Dzingel managed to poke home a rebounded puck in front of Danis 5:27 into the period to even the score 3-3. Hartford needed just 27 seconds to respond as Oscar Lindberg scored his 18th of the year to make it a 4-3 score in favor of the visitors.

Despite outshooting the Wolf Pack 12-7 over the final 20 minutes of play, the B-Sens failed to find the back of the net as Danis held on for the one-goal decision. Danis finished with 37 saves on 40 shots faced while Greenham allowed four goals on 27 shots in the losing effort. In addition to Haggerty's pair of goals, the Wolf Pack received two-point outings from Conor Allen and Michael Kostka who registered two assists each. Camper (0+2) and Prince (1+1) led the B-Sens offensively.

Sunday, March 15: Binghamton 8, Adirondack 7 (OT)

Shots: Binghamton 38, Adirondack 43

PP: Binghamton 2 for 3, Adirondack 1 for 4

Despite the Adirondack Flames twice rallying from a three-goal deficit, the Binghamton Senators survived for an 8-7 overtime victory. Twelve players between each team had multi-point evenings including Camper (1+3) and Schneider (2+1) having a four point and three point night, respectively, for the B-Sens.

Schneider opened up the scoring for the B-Sens six seconds into their first power play chance after deflecting Camper's shot from the corner 4:33 in the first period. The Flames responded eight seconds later when Brett Kulak beat Mannino to bring the score to a 1-1 tie. Chris Wideman gave the Senators a 2-1 lead with 1:23 left in the first after knocking home a rebound and beating Doug Carr over his blocker arm for his 16th goal of the season. The B-Sens took the one-goal advantage to the locker room along with leading the shots 10-7 over the Flames.

David Wolf tied the game back up for the Flames less than two minutes into the second period after receiving a centering a feed he swiped home past Mannino for his 15th of the year. Binghamton responded with two goals 19 seconds apart giving them their first two-goal cushion and ending Carr's night for Adirondack. The first came from a Buddy Robinson shot redirected by Alex Guptill followed by Schneider's second of the night from the right faceoff circle. Sena Acolatse made it 4-3 at the 8:28 mark of the second, but Mills gave the multi-goal cushion back to the B-Sens after redirecting a shot from Patrick Mullen with less than 7 minutes in the period. Camper made it a 6-3 game after ripping a hard shot past Brad Thiessen with three seconds left in the period and giving the B-Sens the lead heading to the final intermission.

The back-and-forth goal scoring continued in the third period with the teams combining for five goals. Prince tallied the lone B-Sens goal on a power play in final period of regulation with Schneider and Camper picking up the assists. Wolf and Kulak picked up goals for the Flames along with Hathaway scoring twice in the final period to force the teams to overtime with a 7-7 score.

Aaron Johnson recorded his second overtime goal of the season and the game winner 3:13 into the extra time after redirecting Mullen's shot to give Binghamton the victory.
