
Rampage recall Jeff Brown from Texas

SAN ANTONIO â Oct. 24, 2004 â San Antonio Rampage Director of Hockey Operations Matt Loughran announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Jeff Brown from the Texas Wildcatters of the ECHL.
Brown will fill the role left by Victor Uchevatov who sustained a broken left foot after taking a puck to the skate in Friday's game against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
Brown, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario, has appeared in one game for the Wildcatters this season, recording zero points. From 1998-2001, Brown appeared in 18 games for Hartford of the American Hockey League (AHL) registering two assists and 25 penalty minutes.
The Rampage (2-3-0-0) play the Grand Rapids Griffins tonight at the SBC Center at 5 p.m. All regular season games can be heard on the Rampage's flagship station "The Ticket" 760 AM (subject to conflicts) and via cybercast on www.sarampage.com.
