Rampage Reassign Rob Madore to Cincinnati

SAN ANTONIO (April 5, 2014) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced Saturday that the San Antonio Rampage have reassigned goaltender Rob Madore to the team's ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Madore, 25, has spent the majority of his time this season with Cincinnati, where he is currently 17-12-0 through 31 games, posting a 2.69 goals against average and a .911 save percentage. He has posted two shutouts for the Cyclones. Through five games with the Rampage this season, Madore has gone 1-2-1 with a 3.23 goals against average and a .906 save percentage.

The 5-foot-10, 176-pound netminder split time last year with the Evansville Icemen (ECHL), the Florida Everblades (ECHL), and the Charlotte Checkers in his second professional season. He made his professional debut with Chicago (ECHL) during the 2010-11 season.

Prior to turning pro, Madore played four years (2008-12) at the University of Vermont and finished his career ranked second all-time in saves (3,352) for the Catamounts.
