SAN ANTONIO ------ The San Antonio Rampage (29-25-10-0) held a one-goal advantage late in the third period but were unable to keep the Manitoba Moose (38-17-4-4) off the board as they ultimately fell 3-2 in overtime on Friday at the AT&T Center.

Mason Geertsen was the first to sound the horn in the opening minutes of the first period after the defenseman's wrist shot from the left circle snuck by netminder Jamie Phillips at the 2:57 mark. Manitoba notched the game with a power-play goal at 11:06 when Nic Petan found Patrice Cormier on the backside of goaltender Joe Cannata for his 21st goal of the season.

Andrew Agozzino broke the tie after more than 35 minutes of scoreless hockey when the forward gathered a rebounding puck and landed a wrap-around goal at the 7:09 mark of the final stanza. The Moose evened the game and forced overtime with 67 seconds remaining in regulation when Mason Appleton finished a centering pass from Cormier.

Petan landed the game winner 54 seconds into the extra period after he fired the puck under Cannata's glove and into the cage, securing a 3-2 victory for Manitoba.
