Tacoma, WA - The Tacoma Rainiers beat the Portland Beavers tonight 3-1 in front of 6496 fans at Cheney Stadium. Rainiers starter Steven Shell picked up the win after going 6.0 inning and allowing just a single earned run. Game #4 of the series will be tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
