
Rain Postpones Tuesday Night for Curve, Sens

CURVE, Pa. - Tuesday evening's second game of four between the Curve and Harrisburg Senators at Peoples Natural Gas Field has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Wednesday, May 23 as part of an Education Day doubleheader beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Fans who had tickets to Tuesday night's (May 22nd) contest at Peoples Natural Gas Field can exchange them for any other remaining 2012 Altoona Curve game for equal or lesser value based on availability.
The Curve and Senators will resume their four-game series with the middle two contests on Wednesday's regularly scheduled Education Day at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Both games will be seven-inning affairs with the Wednesday morning opener first pitch set for 10:30. Tuesday's scheduled starters Danny Rosenbaum (5-0, 0.62) of Harrisburg and Phil Irwin (0-1, 4.76) of Altoona will be pushed back to the Wednesday opener. The second Wednesday contest will feature a matchup of right-handers as the Senators send Rob Gilliam (1-4, 4.68) against Altoona's Brandon Cumpton (5-3, 3.72). The first of back-to-back Education Days is a WALY 103.9 4-Pack Wednesday with fans able to get four tickets, four hot dogs, and four regular sodas for just $35.
This series is set to wrap up on Thursday with a second straight Education Day at Peoples Natural Gas Field. The finale of four is a Thirsty Thursday presented by Rocky 104.9 with specially priced 16-ounce drafts and half-price sodas.
