Raiders Announce the Rescheduling of Five Games

Prince Albert, Sask. - The Prince Albert Raiders announced changes to five WHL Regular Season games on Thursday.

Two of the games were previously postponed, while the other three games are moving due to the lengthening of the WHL schedule by two weeks. The new dates for the five games are:

Wednesday, March 16: Prince Albert vs. Swift Current (originally scheduled for Saturday, January 8, then postponed to Monday, March 14)

Friday, April 8: Prince Albert at Saskatoon (originally scheduled for Friday, March 18)

Saturday, April 9: Prince Albert at Regina (originally scheduled for Friday, January 28)

Friday, April 15: Prince Albert at Swift Current (originally scheduled for Friday, January 7, then postponed to Wednesday, March 16)

Saturday, April 16: Prince Albert vs. Brandon (originally scheduled for Saturday, January 29)

Tickets purchased for either the home game against the Swift Current Broncos or the Brandon Wheat Kings listed above will be honoured on their new dates of Wednesday, March 16 and Saturday, April 16, respectively. If fans who purchased single-game tickets to the original dates are unable to attend the rescheduled date, the tickets can be exchanged for a voucher for another game. If Season Ticket Holders are unable to attend the new date, they are able to trade the ticket in for a voucher for another game prior to the game being played, or used as part of the Never Waste A Ticket program.

With the extension of the regular season schedule, the 2022 WHL Playoffs will begin Friday, April 22. The 2022 WHL Playoffs will feature the reintroduction of the Conference Playoff format, including three best-of-seven rounds followed by a best-of-seven WHL Championship Series.

On Wednesday, the CHL announced new dates for the 2022 Memorial Cup presented by Kia, which will run from Monday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 29 in Saint John, N.B.

The Raiders take on a pair of East Division rivals at the Art Hauser Centre this weekend. On Friday night, the Regina Pats visit the Art Hauser Centre; the Raiders take on the Moose Jaw Warriors in Prince Albert while wearing special throwback jerseys on the following night.
