Hurricanes, WHL Announce Schedule Adjustment

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League, announced Thursday an adjustment to the remainder of the 2021-2022 regular season schedule.

The WHL has announced that the 2021-2022 Regular Season will now conclude on Sunday, April 17th. Should tie-breaker game(s) be needed, those will be scheduled for Tuesday, April 19thwith the 2022 WHL Playoff to follow.

The Hurricanes, who have 25-games remaining in this schedule, will see five games rescheduled after earlier postponements and an extension to the regular season.

The rescheduled dates are as follows:

Wed, Jan. 26th - vs. Saskatoon Wed, Apr. 6th - vs. Saskatoon (7:00pm)

Mon, Mar. 28th - at Red Deer Fri, Apr. 8th - at Red Deer (7:00pm)

Tue, Mar. 22nd - vs. Calgary Sat, Apr. 9th - vs. Calgary (7:00pm)

Thu, Feb. 17th - vs. Moose Jaw Fri, Apr. 15th - vs. Moose Jaw (7:00pm)

Sat, Jan. 1st - at Calgary Sun, Apr. 17th - at Calgary (2:00pm)

Tickets for the previously schedule home dates will be valid for the rescheduled dates.

The Hurricanes return to action on Friday when they welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.
