Raider Fans Feed PA Share-A-Meal Food Bank

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce, thanks to the generosity of their fans at their last home game Friday, November 5th, a total of 2010 pounds of food was donated to the Prince Albert Share-A-Meal Food Bank through the SHAW Together is Amazing campaign.

At the game itself, Raider fans brought in 670 pounds of non perishable food items. SHAW and Campbell each matched the donation, giving the Share-A-Meal Food Bank the 2010 total.

"Our fans' generosity again is exemplary," said Bruce Vance, Director of Marketing and Media Relations. "We were delighted to work with a great Western Hockey League partner SHAW and Campbell, in the Together is Amazing campaign. The Raiders and their fans are committed to giving back to our community."

The Raiders host the Seattle Thunderbirds for the only time in two seasons tonight at 7 PM at the Art Hauser Centre. Tickets are available on line at www.raiderhockey.com or by calling 764-4263.
