Rocky Mountain Rage News Release

Broomfield, Colo. - The Central Hockey League suspended Rocky Mountain Rage goaltender Terry Dunbar for 15 games and left winger Justin Schmit for four games today as punishment for their roles in an incident at the end of the team's game against the New Mexico Scorpions on Dec. 1.

"On behalf of the team and the players involved, we regret and accept responsibility for what occurred at the end of our game on Saturday in New Mexico," said Rage head coach Tracy Egeland. "We respect the decisions the league made and now move forward with the task of winning hockey games."

The CHL also suspended New Mexico's Kevin Harvey for eight games and Blair Stayzer for three games for their respective actions during the same incident.

Rocky Mountain next takes the ice tomorrow on the road against the Wichita Thunder. Fans can catch the play-by-play action when the puck drops at 6:05 p.m. MST via the Live Audio link at www.rockymountainrage.com or on tape delay beginning at approximately 9 p.m. MST on The New ESPN Radio 1600.
