Arizona's Redenbach Named Sher-Wood/CHL Player of the Month

The Central Hockey League announced today that Tyler Redenbach of the Arizona Sundogs has been named the Sher-Wood/Central Hockey League Player of the Month for the month of November/2007. Redenbach will receive a custom leather jacket from Sher-Wood, the official stick, glove, pant and protective equipment supplier to the CHL to recognize his accomplishment.

Redenbach was tied for the league lead for the month with 21 points (five goals, 16 assists) and a +5 plus/minus rating. The Regina, Saskatchewan native has registered a point in every game this season (15 games) and currently ranks fourth in the CHL with 32 points and first with 24 assists. Redenbach was named the Oakley CHL Player of the Week for the week of November 19th-25th when he had three goals and five assists in the Sundogs three wins during the week. The former third round draft selection of the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft has had four straight multiple-point games and in nine of his last 11 games, he has notched two points or more.

The 6-0, 195-pound forward received an AHL call-up earlier this season from the San Antonio Rampage and played in one game not recording a point. In his career, Redenbach has played in 122 AHL games scoring 32 goals with 51 assists.

Other players receiving consideration for the monthly award for November include Amarillo's Chris Lipsett, Colorado's Seth Leonard, Laredo's Jeff Bes, Mississippi's Chad Woollard, New Mexico's Konrad Reeder, Odessa's Sebastien Thinel, Rio Grande Valley's Dennis Maxwell, Rocky Mountain's Scott Wray and Youngstown's Eric Przepiorka and Petr Pohl.
