Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (13-9) look to make it three wins a row and earn a two-game sweep over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (13-9). Whoever wins tonight will have sole possession of third place in the South Division standings.

The Rafters won 3-2 last night in Fond du Lac. The cranberry and gold took the lead in the first after a two RBI single from Jack-Thomas Wold (UNLV). The Dock Spiders tied it up at two in the bottom of the second. After a stalemate through the next four innings, Wisconsin Rapids broke free in the seventh with a base hit from Ty Duvall (Vanderbilt) plating Jordan Wiley (Kalamazoo College) for the go-ahead run. Mason McReaken (SIU Edwardsville) threw a scoreless ninth for his second save of the year and lock down the 3-2 win.

Tonight, the Rafters send Gareth Stroh (1-0, 1.64 ERA) to the mound. Stroh (Purdue) is making his third start of the season for Wisconsin Rapids. The lefty is coming off a quality start put in on Saturday against the Kingfish. Stroh allowed just two runs in six innings with seven strikeouts and earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night honors in the 4-3 win.

The Dock Spiders will go with Jon Young (1-1, 0.00 ERA). Young was initially slated to start last night but was switched with Ben Probst. Young will be making his fourth start tonight for Fond du Lac. The right-hander suffered the loss his last time in out against the Lakeshore Chinooks at Kapco Park. Young allowed two unearned runs in five innings as the Dock Spiders fell 4-3. Additionally, this will be Young's first start at Herr-Baker Field.

First pitch from Herr-Baker Field is scheduled for 6:35 pm CT.
