Wausau, Wis.- The Rafters are 6-1 against their rivals to the north this season, and look to continue their success against them this evening. The Rafters won two out of three against them back in Monday's triple header. Wisconsin Rapids is one win away from tying their record for most wins in a season. They are 30-34 on the season. The Woodchucks come into the game with a record of 23-44 overall.

Jon Malmin (Texas) will take the ball tonight for the Rafters. The lefty is making his 11th appearance of the summer tonight, his 7th as a starter. The 2014 Northwoods League All-Star has 19 strikeouts in 26 innings this summer. The Woodchucks have not yet announced a starter for tonight's ball game. Ryan Cleveland's (Georgia Southern) bat has been on fire as of late, going 4-for-5 on the day with the two home runs and three RBI, and now has home runs in three straight games. Jake Sandlin (Southern Mississippi) was 5-for-6 in the final two games of the triple header on Monday, hitting his 22nd double of the summer. Zack Domingues (Long Beach State) also picked up four hits and is now 10-for-18 with 1 runs scored over his last six games.

The Rafters return home tomorrow to take on the Thunder Bay Border Cats. The Border Cats will be back in town Friday before Green Bay comes to town for the final series of the season.
