Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs return to Northwoods League action tonight following last night's Major League Dream Showcase, a game that featured five Bullfrogs.

The Bullfrogs will start Sam Brunner tonight in Game 2 of the road series against the first-place Kenosha Kingfish. Green Bay won the first game on Monday by a score of 4-2.

Brunner will look to build off a phenomenal start on July 29 against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He earned the win with seven shutout innings and allowed two hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in the 3-0 Green Bay victory.

Brunner comes into tonight's game with a 5-3 record and a 2.78 earned run average in 15 appearances, including eight starts. He is tied for fifth in the Northwoods League with 58 strikeouts this season.

Jake Perkins will make his first start of the season tonight for Kenosha. In three appearances, the 6-foot-1 lefthander has a 6.00 earned run average in six innings pitched.

First pitch for tonight's game will begin at 7:05 at Simmons Field.

With five regular season games remaining, the Bullfrogs will return to Joannes Stadium for a two-game series against the La Crosse Loggers on Aug. 6-7, followed by two games on the road against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to close out the regular season.
