Rafters and Marshfield Clinic Partner for Alternate Jersey Honoring Cancer Survivors

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will wear a cancer awareness alternate themed jersey for tonight's triple header against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Fans can submit an online bid (starting at $80) for as many jerseys as they'd like. Bidding will continue during the games on August 3rd during which fans will have the chance to match and continue to bid in-person. The auction will end with the last out in the bottom of the 4th inning during the third game. Winners do not need not to be in attendance, but it is recommended. ($5 will be added for shipped orders). Proceeds from the Cancer Awareness alternate theme jersey auction will go towards benefitting cancer research.

To place your bid please follow these steps:

Click on the "BID Jersey" link beside the player's name on raftersbaseball.com

Your email program will then open a new message

In the body of that email please include: the player's name, the dollar amount of your bid, your name & your phone number!

example: Craig Noto, $125, John Fanta, (715) xxx-xxxx

Bid as many times as you'd like on as many jerseys as you wish! (Remember, bids less than $80 will not be considered)

Bids of $100 will automatically win the jersey, provided it is the highest bid at the time it is placed.

*Please note: Backside of the jersey will feature the player's number and signatures submitted to the Rafters honoring cancer survivors.

** Upon completion of the game, each player will sign his jersey if desired and a member of the Rafters staff will bring those items to the Rafthouse Team Shop. At that time, payment will be needed to obtain said item. Patience is requested as over 30 transactions will need to be run immediately following the game. For faster processing, cash or check is the preferred method of payment.
