Bullfrogs to Make 2015 Playoffs, Tickets Available Now
August 3, 2015 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Green Bay Rockers News Release
Green Bay, WI- The Bullfrogs will be in the playoffs this season for the first time since 2011. Playoff tickets are available now for the first playoff game on Monday, August 10th. A playoff ticket package is available to guarantee your seats for all four potential playoff games. It is still to be determined if the Bullfrogs will be the second playoff host in the South Division.
Green Bay will host if they capture the second best overall record in the South Division, as the Kingfish have clinched the best record in both halves.
If the Bullfrogs do host, they will play either La Crosse or Madison while the Kingfish host the other South Division playoff game.
In the case that the Bullfrogs do not finish with the second best overall record in the South Division, they will either play their first playoff game on the road against Kenosha, Madison, or La Crosse.
If the Bullfrogs win their first playoff game, they play another single-elimination format contest on August 11th, and will host only if they have a better record than their opponent.
Earlier in the year, the Northwoods League announced a new playoff format that will begin with the 2015 season. This new format will increase the teams participating in the playoffs from four to eight, as two additional teams will be added per division to take part in a pair of single-elimination games on the first two days of the playoffs. The two teams that win both of their single-elimination games in each division will move on to the best of three Summer Collegiate World Series.
The Summer Collegiate World Series will then be held August 13-15. And as it is for the division playoffs, home field advantage will be determined by best overall record.
Ticket purchases for games that are not played will be refunded or credited towards 2016 tickets. Customers will only be charged for games that are played. Season ticket, Dugout Club, 7-Game Pack and corporate season ticket holders are guaranteed tickets for the four potential postseason contests.
Ticket pricing for the playoffs will include Dugout Club pricing at $12.00, Reserved Bleacher pricing at $10.00, the Leinie's Fan Deck pricing at (Beer/Soda only) $27.00/$22.00, and the Four-top tables at $40. The playoff package prices are as follows; Dugout Club is $48, Reserved Bleacher $40, Leinie's Fan Deck with beer $108, Leinie's Fan Deck with soda only $88, Four-top tables $640.
