Wisconsin Rapids out-hit the Bullfrogs for the second-straight evening as the Rafters collected 25 hits in the two-game series but allowed 19 runs over the two games.

Green Bay jumped on the Rafters early as the Bullfrogs plated two runs in the first inning after Rafters starter, Greg Maisto, faced eight batters in the first inning and allowed tow hits and issued a walk. Maisto was forced to depart the game early after the Texas A&M Aggie tossed 38 pitches in the innings first frame; Northwoods league pitchers are only allowed to throw 35 pitches in an inning. Taylor Stell reached on a base hit to lead off the first inning and Jackson Slaid added to his team-leading 32 RBI when the Montevallo junior brought Stell around on a sacrifice fly to draw the game to within one, 1-2.

The one run would be the closest the Rafters would get as the Bullfrogs added eight runs over the games next four innings, including a big double to centerfield by the Bullforgs', Nick Torres. The hit was part of a two-hit evening for the Cal Poly prospect.

The Rafters, though, battled back in the games waning innings as the team scored seven runs in the final five innings, using seven base hits, to claw their way back into.
