Cleburne Railroaders News Release

CLEBURNE, Texas - Rafael and Patrick Palmeiro will be featured on ESPN'S feature series 'E:60' beginning on Sunday morning.

The in-depth story features full-length interviews with both Rafael and Patrick, and covers Rafael's major-league career, his road back to baseball and his time in Cleburne thus far.

"Having both Rafael and Patrick here has been great for the club," general manager Bill Adams said. "Not only do the fans enjoy watching them play, but they've been gracious to the fans and they've made things a lot of fun at The Depot."

Rafael Palmeiro, 53, signed with the Railroaders in May and has a .273/.360/.386 batting line. He's coming off of a four-game series against the Wichita Wingnuts in which he reached 10 times and he has one home run and four RBI through the first 26 games of the year.

Patrick Palmeiro, 28, joined his father after spending parts of the last four seasons in independent baseball. Through the first quarter of the year, he's the club's homer and RBI leader with four and 16 respectively.

The story is told by ESPN reporter John Barr, and a text version of the story is also available here.

"The coverage has been great for the community and people of Cleburne," Adams said. "We've had exposure here that nobody would have thought we could have. This is exactly what people envisioned when they wanted to bring the Railroaders to Cleburne."
