Radio Recon Is Sure Third Time Will be a Charm

Sinking Spring, PA - The Reading Royals cordially invite you to join us for Royals Radio Recon, the Reading Royals Weekly Coach's Show, on Tuesday (January 17, 2012) from 6 - 7 pm at Jimmy G's Railroad House Sports Bar and Restaurant (152 Woodrow Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA; 610-678-1177).
They say the third time's a charm; and we certainly hope that's true because Derrick LaPoint's been patient with us so far-but we better get it right this time...we may not get another shot. Poor Derrick's has been cut short a couple of times at Radio Recon, so this time, he's coming up first-or at least after Coach Courville. And we'll let Derrick run on for as long as he wants-we'll even ask him what we should call the University of North Dakota now that the lawyers are listening....We'll save time in our last segment for Shawn Hinkle, who will give us some insight into the good being done by THON-the charity for whom we'll wear special jerseys this Saturday night.
We also expect to have the whole Royals' broadcast crew with us, including Scott Rathman, who will have our wireless microphone in order to solicit comments and questions from fans. As always, we'll have crazy trivia and giveaways for fans who participate in the show. Royals Radio Recon will be broadcast live on the Royals Broadcast Network (ESPN Radio 1240 am in Reading).
