Saturday night at FNB Field, the Richmond Flying Squirrels beat the Harrisburg Senators 6-1. Richmond scored a run in the first, then four more in the second to break the game open. The Sens didn't score until their lone run until the eighth inning. The game ended when Stone Garrett hit a bases loaded line drive to Squirrels RF Vaun Brown, who made a diving catch.

The Big Play

Grant McCray hit a three-run home run in the second inning, capping a four-run inning for Richmond to give the Flying Squirrels a 5-0 lead.


Harrisburg received nine walks... The Senators went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position while Richmond was 2-for-8... Yohandy Morales drove in the lone Sens run with a single in the eighth inning... Harrisburg has taken three of the first five games of the series and with a win Sunday, take the series.
