Quebec Les Capitales News Release
Quebec won their seventh straight, all of them home victories, as they tripped up the Aces 5-2. In the sixth, the Aces went ahead 2-1 with their first home run of the season, a solo shot by 2B Mike Davis. But the Aces fell apart in an eighth inning which included two errors on pickoff attempts, a wild pitch, and another error by P Nick Devenney, allowing the Capitales to score four unanswered runs. Starter Jess Turner sparkled for Quebec, allowing no earned runs on four hits in seven innings of work, striking out three.
