Calfapietra to speak alongside Daneyko

Little Falls, NJ – New Jersey Jackals Manager Joe Calfapietra will be guest speaker at the 19th Annual Sports Celebrity Spectacular & Beefsteak Dinner, sponsored by March Associates, Inc of Wayne. Accompanying Coach Calfapietra will be two Jackal players, shortstop Chris Rowan and first basemen Rick Elder. Jackal mascot Jack the Jackal will also be on hand for the event.

Speaking alongside Calfapietra will be former New Jersey Devil defenseman Ken Daneyko. Daneyko played 21 seasons for the Devils, was part of all three Stanley Cup Champion teams, and will always be considered a legend and a fan favorite.

"When I heard that I was speaking with Ken Daneyko, I thought it was great," said Calfapietra. "Being a big Philadelphia Flyers fan, I've seen Daneyko play many times. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to sit down and talk a little hockey with him."

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at the PRIME Hotel and Suites on 690 Route 46 East in Fairfield, NJ. Tickets to the event are $55, and can be purchased by visiting www.njrcc.org.
