
Prosper Props Up Express For Win Against Jazz

MONTREAL, QC - A huge third quarter bolted the Windsor Express to a 122-103 win over Montreal in the middle game of their three game series.
Windsor (9-12) put up 37 points in the third, outscoring the Jazz (1-18) by 20 points and erasing Montreal's 55-54 lead at halftime.
The Express jumped out to a 33-26 lead after the first quarter, but Montreal staged an early comeback, taking the second frame by a mark of 29-21.
Lester Prosper had his best game as a member of the Express, dropping a team-high 25 points, while grabbing 10 rebounds and swatting 5 blocks.
As a team, Windsor shot 50% from 3-point range, helped by a 5-for-8 mark from Mike Helms and a 3-for-4 record for Chris Commons.
Helms had 21 points, one of six Express players to score in double digits. Darren Duncan battled through a flu bug to score 19 with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Eric Frederick had a game-high 26 in a losing effort for the Jazz.
The two teams settle their series tomorrow night at 7pm.
Windsor will look to take their second game of the weekend before a long layoff, with their next away game on January 13th in London.
Catch the next Express home game at the WFCU Centre on January 18th against last year's runner up champions, Halifax Rainmen. The Express will face the Rainmen at home for the first time since beating them at their opening game at 7PM EST.
