Hurricanes Lose Tough Battle in Moncton, Magic Tie Series 1-1

April 20, 2019 - MONCTON, N.B. - The Halifax Hurricanes fought through a back-and-forth game with the Magic in Moncton on Saturday but fell in end 96-88. The Hurricanes were fast out of the gate, building up an 11-point lead in the first half against the Magic, but faltered in the second quarter when the Magic defence limited Halifax to just eight points in the frame. Hurricanes Bring Their Game to Moncton

April 19, 2019 - Back to reality, for the Moncton Magic this marks their first loss of the 2019 NBL of Canada Playoffs and their first home loss since March 12th. Leading by 11 points at the half, Moncton was stunned by a 62-36 scoring run by the surging Hurricanes. Edge Place Junior Cadougan on Injured Reserve for Remainder of 2018-19

April 19, 2019 - St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge announced today that the club has placed Junior Cadougan on the Injured Reserve effective immediately. The injury was suffered in the 3rd quarter of the Edge 101-92 win over the Sudbury Five in Game 5 of their series. Cadougan suffered an adductor Longus Rupture in his left groin/pelvic area.
