Austin Spurs News Release
LAS VEGAS - The Austin Spurs defeated G League Ignite by a final score of 118-89 on Monday night at the NBA G League Winter Showcase.
San Antonio Spurs assignee Josh Primo recorded a game-high 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the win.
Two-way player Devontae Cacok posted his eighth consecutive double-double for Austin with 20 points and 12 rebounds, and two-way player Joe Wieskamp finished with 10 points and 4 rebounds.
Scoot Henderson and Kevin Murphy led Ignite with 15 points each.
The 2021-22 Austin Spurs season is presented by SWBC.
NEXT UP Austin's second and final NBA G League Winter Showcase game is set for Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 10 p.m. CT when the team will take on the Sioux Falls Skyforce in Las Vegas. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
