Scranton overpowered the Lynx, knocking out 19 hits en route to a 12-1 win.
The loss drops the Lynx record to 33-46 while Scranton/WB improves to 43-38.
Lynx Players Of The Day: IL All-Star Jason Jaramillo had two hits and scored the Lynx only run in their Canada Day loss to the Yankees.
Game Recap: Scranton scored in each of the first five innings to establish a 9-1 lead. LHP Eude Brito was charged with all nine runs, five of which scored on home runs off the bats of Shelley Duncan and Kevin Reese. Ryan Cameron came on in relief and threw a clean sixth inning before allowing three runs in the seventh. John Ennis and Kane Davis threw 2.2 innings of shutout ball to finish the game. Jason Jaramillo paced the Lynx attack with two hits, including the team's only double, scoring the Lynx only run in the bottom of the fourth. He doubled with one out and scored when Jim Rushford reached base on an error to Scranton pitcher Steven White.
Next Game: The Lynx host the Yankees in the third game of their four-game series Monday afternoon at Lynx Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 pm for this Holiday Monday matinee!
Probable Pitchers: Monday vs. Scranton/WB, 1:05 pm: Ottawa RHP Heath Totten (1-4, 5.90) takes on Scranton/WB RHP Matt DeSalvo (5-1, 1.69).
