OTTAWA - RHP Anderson Garcia is going to miss out on Canada Day in Ottawa. The Lynx reliever has been recalled by the parent Philadelphia Phillies.
Garcia, 26, will make his Major League debut with the Phillies. He was 0-1 with three saves and a 3.08 ERA in 18 games with the Lynx this season. The righty has struck out 22 batters and walked only nine in 29.1 innings of work. He started the season with Double-A Reading, where he went 0-2 with seven saves and a 3.12 ERA. He struck out 19 and walked only one batter in 17.1 innings with the Reading Phillies.
