PENSACOLA, FL – The Pee Dee Pride tied a team record with their fourth consecutive loss on Sunday, falling 4-2 to the Pensacola Ice Pilots in front of 2,959 fans at the Pensacola Civic Center.

For the fourth consecutive game, the Pride allowed the first goal of the game. Late in the first period, a Pride turnover led to Chris St. Jaques skating with the puck across the Pride line and rifling a wrist shot past Sebastien Laplante for his eighth goal of the season at the 15:10 mark.

The Pride tied the game at the 12:07 mark of the second period, just eight seconds into a power-play opportunity. Chad Spurr won the face off to Tyler Kindle, and he found Allan Sirois all alone down low, and he beat Frederic Cloutier with his 14th goal of the season.

But, Pensacola would take a two-goal lead over the next two minutes with a pair of power-play tallies by Corey Neilsen. The first goal, at 13:28, came just seconds after Kyle Kidney was hauled down when he had a chance to clear the zone, without a penalty being called.

Neilson's second goal, at 14:07, gave the Ice Pilots a 3-1 lead through 40 minutes.

Pee Dee pulled back within one at the 4:17 mark of the final period. Jeff Szwez' shot from the blue line eluded Cloutier for his 15th goal of the season to make it 3-2.

St. Jaques scored his second goal of the night with 1:05 left in regulation to set the final.

The Pride play game four of their eight-game road trip on Tuesday at 7:00 against the Gwinnett Gladiators. Catch all of the action on WDAR Sunny 105.5 and _www.peedeepride.com_ (http://www.peedeepride.com/) starting with the Palmetto Chiropractic Pre-Game Show at 6:40.
