FLORENCE, SC -- The Florence Pride ended their four-game winless streak with a 3-2 overtime win over the Florida Everblades Friday at the Lion's Den.

Wes Goldie connected on a power-play goal 3:47 into the extra session to give the Pride the win.

Florence struck first 7:09 into the first period as Ryan Gaucher, playing in his first game with the Pride, beat Florida goaltender Jeff Maund with a rising wrist shot.

Florida tied it 17:17 of the opening period on a power-play goal. Matt Pagnutti took a pass from Brian McCullough for his sixth goal of the season.

The game stayed tied until just 6:18 remained in regulation. Kyle Kidney fed a perfect cross-crease pass to Jack Baker, who put it past Maund for his fifth of the season, and first with the Pride.

However, the Everblades tied it before regulation ended. Reggie Berg intercepted a Pride clearing attempt at the blue line, and hit a streaking Chad Larose who beat Sebasiten Laplante for his ninth goal of the season with 3:30 left in the third.

Sebasiten Laplante, making his first apperance since November 8, picked up the win to improve to 4-1-0 on the season.

The Pride hit the road and play at South Carolina Saturday at 7:30. Florence returns home on Sunday for a 2:30 matinee against the Toledo Storm.
