Chiefs Win 4-2 Over Cincinnati

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs picked up their second straight win Friday night, with a 4-2 victory over the Cincinnati Cyclones at the War Memorial.

The Chiefs jumped out to a 2-0 lead as Larry Courville scored his first goal in a Johnstown uniform 3:08 into the game. Chad Cavanagh made it 2-0 at 3:58 into the second period. Steve Hildenbrand and Jay Langager scored power play goals to round out the Johnstown scoring. Both Cincinnati goals came on the power play as Jason Norrie and Terry Marchant tallied.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie picked up his fourth win of the season making 24 saves. Cyclones goaltender Randy Petruk made 26 saves.

The Chiefs improve their record to 19-14-3. The Cyclones fall to .500 at 16-16-3.

The Chiefs are back on home ice tomorrow night when they host the Reading Royals at 7:05 p.m. Next weekend the Chiefs will travel to Peoria for a pair of games, Friday and Saturday night (8:05 p.m.). February 21st, when the Chiefs take on the Trenton Titans, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s car will be on display at the arena.
