Ice Pilots Sign Defenseman Nick Cammarata

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the new ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with owner Tim Kerr, announced that defenseman Nick Cammarata pronounced (Cam-mah-raught-tah) has signed an ECHL contract with the team.
Cammarata, who stands 6'0" and weighs 205 pounds, has played in two games with Greenville this season picking up two penalty minutes and has also played in four games with Louisville this season. He also played in nine games with Louisiana last season picking up one assist and four penalty minutes.
Cammarata played at Merrimack College from 1999-2003 playing in a total of 138 games scoring 8 goals, 20 assists for 28 points and picked up 100 penalty minutes. He is 23 years old from Canton, Massachusetts and shoots right.
The Ice Pilots will play home games tonight vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. and will play home tomorrow night vs. the Columbia Inferno at 7:05 p.m. It is Ladies Night and Avon Night on Saturday night. A Ladies Expo starts at 5:30 p.m. Ladies can register at the Expo to win three Avon makeovers and dinner with an Ice Pilots player. Prizes will be given away at the game including free massages.
