Frisco Fighters News Release
Frisco, TX - The Fighters head into Week 18 coming off a huge victory at home against Sioux Falls Storm [56-15], resulting in an undefeated record at home. They look to add another win as they play on the road this week against the Iowa Barnstormers.
The Fighters are led by interim head coach Andre Coles, who looks to continue to hold the number one spot in the Eastern Conference.

PAST MEETUPS - FIGHTERS V BARNSTORMERS
This will be the third time the Fighters and Barnstormers face off as the last meet-up ended in a Fighters win [64-39]. The Barnstormers have struggled this season with a record of 3-11. Their losses were to the Vegas Knight Hawks [44-57] , the Green Bay Blizzard three times [24-54], [41-57], [17-43], Sioux Falls Storm twice [24-54] & [26-77], the Tulsa Oilers [48-54], the Massachusetts Pirates [36-56], and the Quad City Steamwheelers three times [34-60], [35-63], [47-64].
PLAYERS TO WATCH
A player to watch every week is quarterback TJ Edwards. Edwards comes off a huge game offensively as he threw for 147 yards with four touchdowns. He looks to continue his MVP campaign as he ranks number five in all-purpose offense and number one in scoring.
Another player to watch this week is wide receiver Phazione McClurge. McClurge coming off an injury was a huge part of our offensive last game as he recorded 53 yards with one touchdown. He looks to continue his production this week.
Lastly, another player to watch is defensive back, Kordell Jackson. Jackson played a huge role on defense last game as he led the game in turnovers, one being a pick-six. He looks to continue his impact this week.
