The Vegas Knight Hawks (5-9) will take on the San Diego Strike Force (5-9) on the road on Saturday, July 15. Kickoff is set for 8:05 p.m. CT.
NOTES
The Vegas Knight Hawks are coming off a victory over the Tucson Sugar Skulls. This will be their second meeting against the Strike Force this season. The Knight Hawks last played San Diego on April 8, a 37-36 loss at home.
Quarterback Daquan Neal finished last week's game with 139 passing yards and one passing touchdown, as well three rushing touchdowns. Davonte Sapp-Lynch and Jonathan Johnson also each added a rushing touchdown.
The Knight Hawks have the 11th ranked offense in the league. They have 83 touchdowns so far this season, and average 41 points per game. The Knight Hawks' defense is ranked sixth in the league. They have held their opponents to 45.4 points a game.
OPPOSITION UPDATE
The Strike Force are coming off of a 75-40 loss against the Bay Area Panthers, bringing their record this season to 5-9, tied with the Knight Hawks. Nate Davis threw for three touchdowns and 242 yards against the Panthers. Edward Vander added two rushing touchdowns.
The Strike Force's offense is ranked ninth in the league, with 84 touchdowns and an average 43.6 points a game. Their defense is ranked 13th in the league, allowing 79 touchdowns this season and averaging 51.4 points against per game.
