Press Conference Monday, Gorillas at Boys Ranch Wednesday

Amarillo, TX 10/9/09 - With a week to go before the puck drops, the Amarillo Gorillas will announce their new marketing theme, team preview, and changes to the Amarillo Civic Center for Gorillas' game nights at a press conference Monday, October, 12th at 2pm in the North Exhibit Hall of the Amarillo Civic Center.

Owner/President Randy Sanders, General Manager Robert Simmons, Director of Player Personnel/Head Coach Brian Pellerin, and Civic Center Manager Sherman Bass will be on hand to reveal the new accoutrements.

"This is a new season and a new attitude for the entire organization," uttered Gorillas General Manager Robert Simmons. "We have a new marketing theme, revamped locker rooms, and much more we would like to show off Monday."

The team will also visit Boys Ranch, Texas Wednesday, October 14th beginning at 10am for dry land training. The team will participate in the community's ropes course as well as many other intense off-ice training drills on the Ranch's obstacle course.

Single-game tickets on the front row may be purchased for $24 each, row two and up will be sold for $16 a piece, while children ages 15 and under will cost only $8. The Gorillas open the regular season Friday, October 16th in Wichita, followed by a return to the Amarillo Civic Center for Amarillo's home opener Saturday, October 17th against the Odessa Jackalopes.
