Preds Reassign Gratton to Milwaukee

Nashville, TN-- Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Josh Gratton to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League after he cleared waivers earlier in the day.

Gratton split time last season between San Antonio and Hartford in the AHL and Phoenix in the NHL. The Brantford, ON native posted 14 points (5g-9a) in 38 games with the Rampage, 12 points (6g-6a) in 20 contests with the Wolf Pack, and five penalty minutes in one game with the Coyotes. In 67 career NHL contests Gratton has two goals and an assist to go along with 237 PIMs with Phoenix and the Philadelphia Flyers.

Milwaukee will open the regular season with three road games, including the regular season opener Saturday, October 11th in San Antonio, before commencing the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 18th at 7:30 pm against the Rockford IceHogs at the Bradley Center.
