
P-Bruins Open 2008-09 Regular Season Wednesday at The Dunk

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, member of the American Hockey League, will open the 2008-09 regular season at home at the new Dunkin' Donuts Center this Wednesday, October 8, against the Lowell Devils at 7:05 p.m. The Providence Bruins will begin the festivities prior to the game with a highlight video from the 2007-08 season, an introduction of each player on the 2008-09 P-Bruins roster and the unveiling of the Regular Season and Atlantic Division Championship banners from 2007-08.
In addition to the pre-game festivities, fans will have the chance to see the new Dunkin' Donuts Center which includes all new seats, a new P-Bruins Team Store, new scoreboard and new food courts. A whole new fan experience.
Fans are encouraged to arrive to the new Dunkin' Donuts Center early on opening night if their schedules permit to enjoy the pre-game festivities, which will begin at 6:45 p.m. For more information, call the Providence Bruins ticket office at 401-273-5000 or log on to the team website at www.providencebruins.com.
Opening weekend continues Sunday afternoon for a home game at 4:05 p.m. against the Springfield Falcons that marks the first of more than 25 Providence Bruins Promotional Nights at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The P-Bruins will be giving away magnet schedules to the first 2,500 fans, courtesy of Shaw's Supermarkets.
After Sunday, the P-Bruins are again home at The Dunk Friday, October 17 against the Falcons at 7:05 p.m. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive free Providence Bruins t-shirts, courtesy of ServiceMaster Clean, Graftek Systems, Dunkin' Donuts and your New England Dodge Dealers.
