Moose reduce roster by 13

October 7, 2008 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Manitoba Moose News Release

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have reduced their roster by 13 players. As a result, the Moose now have 26 players on their roster.

The following players were released:

The following players were re-assigned to the respective hockey clubs:

Patrick Coulombe Defence Victoria Salmon Kings (ECHL)

Ross Carlson Right Wing Florida Everblades (ECHL)

Mark Derlago Left Wing Bakersfield Condors (ECHL)

Mac Faulkner Centre Reading Royals (ECHL)

Todd Ford Goaltender Victoria Salmon Kings (ECHL)

Olivier Labelle Right Wing Victoria Salmon Kings (ECHL)

Brandon Roach Defence Elmira Jackals (ECHL)

David Schulz Defence Johnstown Chiefs (ECHL)

Matt Stephenson Defence Idaho Steelheads (ECHL)

Dylan Yeo Defence Victoria Salmon Kings (ECHL)

The Moose also announced they have signed forwards Oren Eizenman, Guillaume Desbiens, and Dirk Southern to pro tryout contracts.

The Moose will open their 13th regular season on Friday, Oct. 10th against the Bulldogs at the MTS Centre. Gametime is 7:30 p.m. Fans can buy tickets to that game and all other individual Moose games at all Ticketmaster locations or by calling 780-3333 or by going online at www.ticketmaster.ca or www.moosehockey.com. Fans can also still purchase season tickets and mini-packs by calling the Moose offices directly at 987-7825 (PUCK).
