Bears Release 2008-09 Roster

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today the team's official roster of players that will begin the 2008-09 regular season. The club also announced Tuesday the five players that will assume the captaincy of the team this season. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

The BEARS also announced Tuesday that Bryan Helmer will serve as the team's captain. Graham Mink and Dean Arsene were named alternate captains at home for 2008-09, with Keith Aucoin and Quintin Laing wearing the "A" on the road this season. HERSHEY opens the 2008-09 regular season Wednesday night in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m. The team's 71st home opener will be Saturday, October 18 against the Syracuse Crunch at GIANT Center.
