GAME NOTES

April 6th

The 2013 OHL Priority Selection takes place on Saturday, April 6th. The Ottawa 67's will have the first overall pick in draft for the first time since taking Alyn McCauley in the 1993 OHL Draft. Recent first overall picks include current rookie leading scorer Connor McDavid, 2011-12 Rookie of the Year Aaron Ekblad, and Montreal Canadiens 3rd overall pick Alex Galchenyuk. Another important date for the 67's future is the CHL Import Draft which will likely be held in June - the 67's currently hold the 2nd overall pick in that draft.

OHL Announces 2012-13 Eastern Conference Coaches Poll Winners

The OHL Coaches Poll provides member club coaches with the opportunity to recognize the top three players in 20 different skill categories within their own conference. The Ottawa 67's placed in 5 categories, with Sean Monahan ranking in the Top 3 for the best playmaker, best stickhandler, best face-off man, and smartest player categories. Michal Cajkovsky ranked 2nd in hardest shot. The Oshawa Generals, along with the Barrie Colts led the way with players ranked in 10 categories each. The Generals finished first in a league-high five categories, including local boy Scott Sabourin being voted most improved player.

Final Post-Game Autograph Session

Once a month the Ottawa 67's have a post-game autograph session where fans get a chance to interact with their on-ice heros. Friday will be our final autograph session of the year. Fans can go behind section 105-106 and the boys will be up about 20 minutes after the final buzzer.
