PrairieThunder Defeat Evansville 4-1 on Saturday Night

The Bloomington PrairieThunder, led by CHL All-Star Jason Dale's two goals, defeated the Evansville IceMen 4-1 on Saturday night at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Dale's first goal of the night at 6:56 of the first period turned out to be the game winner. The other PrairieThunder goals were scored by Bill Bagron and Jon Booras. Travis Granbois and Alan Mazur each had two assists. Goaltender Marco Emond stopped 26 of 27 shots for his 14th win of the season.

With the victory, Bloomington improves to 17-9-1 and the PrairieThunder have won four of their last five contests. Evansville falls to 10-17-5 on the year.

Bloomington returns to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum ice again on Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm when they host the Quad City Mallards.
