PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League close out their three-game series at the Arizona Sundogs on New Year's night Saturday at Tim's Toyota Center. Game time is 8:05pm CST.

The Bucks fell to 0-1-1 in their first two-games in Arizona this season as they fell 4-3 in overtime Friday night. The Sundogs erased a two-goal third period deficit and Tyler Butler scored with just three seconds left in overtime to lift Arizona. The Bucks have a three-game winless streak (0-2-1) against the Sundogs for the first time in franchise history.

The Bucks and Sundogs first four meetings this season have all been decided by one goal, with Laredo posting a 1-2-1 mark in those games (1-1 in Laredo, 0-1-1 in Arizona).

Laredo enters Saturday's game four points behind Mississippi and Rio Grande Valley in the Berry Conference standings.

Laredo will play their just their second New Year's night game in franchise history Saturday. The Bucks shutout Austin 2-0 on New Year's day in 2005 in their only other New Year's day game.

Neil Trimm, who was named to his first CHL All-Star game last week, enters Saturday's game third in the CHL in scoring with 41 points (11-3041).

Arizona has won back-to-back home games for the first time this season thanks to their two one-goal wins over Laredo. Saturday's game is the third of a six-game home stand for the Sundogs.
