(Asheville, NC)- The West Virginia Power erupted for an 11-3 win over the Asheville Tourists at McCormick Field on Friday night. West Virginia scored ten runs over the final three innings of the game to earn their first win of the second half.

The Power opened the scoring in the top of the fourth. Mitchell Tolman reached on an error by shortstop Carlos Herrera and advanced on a sacrifice bunt. Carlos Munoz doubled home Tolman for a 1-0 lead. The Tourists tied the game on a Chris Keck solo home run in the bottom of the fifth.

Asheville used a four double sixth inning to take a 3-1 edge against West Virginia starter Dario Agrazal. Brian Mundell doubled and scored on a two-base hit from Yonathan Daza, who then scored on a double by Sam Hilliard.

The Power responded quickly, scoring four times in the top of the seventh on five singles and two walks. Alfredo Reyes singled and stole second and third. After a Casey Hughston walk put runners on the corners, Tolman singled to right to drive in Reyes. Ke'Bryan Hayes singled off the glove of Herrera, plating Hughston to tie the game at three. Daniel Arribas and Ryan Nagle followed with back-to-back RBI base hits to push West Virginia ahead 5-3.

In the eighth, West Virginia extended their lead to 7-3 on a two-run triple by Hayes. The Power added four more in the top of the ninth on two home runs. Arribas hit his seventh home run of the season in the top of the ninth; it was the first home run for the infielder since May 28 against Columbia at Appalachian Power Park. Casey Hughston hit a two-out, three run home run to cap the scoring at 11-3.

Agrazal (4-6) earned the win after allowing three runs on ten hits over six innings with two strikeouts. The right-hander's victory was his first since May 25. Sean Keselica pitched two scoreless for his first hold and Julio Eusebio worked a perfect ninth.

Asheville starter Trey Killian did not factor in the decision, allowing just one unearned run over six innings with five walks and five strikeouts. Javier Palacios (0-3) allowed the four seventh inning runs, was charged with a blown save and took the loss.

Eight Power players had at least one hit, four had multi-hit games and Hughston and Hayes drove in three runs each to pace the win. Tolman reached safely three times to extend his on-base streak to 28 straight games.

West Virginia and Asheville meet Saturday at 6:05 P.M. The Power will send Bret Helton (3-5, 3.78) to the mound and the Tourists will counter with Devin Burke (1-1, 5.14) at McCormick Field
