
Potomac Nationals Game Notes vs. the Wilmington Blue Rocks

Potomac (38-40) and Wilmington (44-34) were suspended last night in the bottom of the 13th inning with two outs and 3B Drew Ward coming up for Potomac in a 2-2 ballgame.
The P-Nats and the Blue Rocks will resume this suspended game at 5:00 pm from Pfitzner Stadium and play a nine inning regularly scheduled game following the conclusion of the suspended game.
The bullpen match-up when play is resumed is expected to be RHP Justin Amlung (0-0, 10.80) for Potomac against RHP Kevin McCarthy (3-1, 1.47) for Wilmington.
The suspended game marks the fourth time Potomac has been suspended in 2015 and the second time Wilmington and Potomac have had a game suspended. On 6/25/15 at Frawley Stadium the P-Nats and Blue Rocks were suspended in a scoreless game in the bottom of the third with Wilmington eventually picking up a 6-4 win.
The regularly scheduled Game Two of the three game series will See RHP Nick Pivetta (6-4, 2.38) on the mound for Potomac vs. RHP Alec Mills (6-3, 2.14) for Wilmington.
