Homegrown defender Donovan Pines started his fifth consecutive match for D.C. United.

Júnior Moreno made his 40th appearance for the Black-and-Red.

Chris Durkin returned to the starting lineup for the first time since the 1-0 victory over Orlando City SC on June 26. The midfielder was subbed off in the 16th minute after suffering an injury.

Bill Hamid has not allowed a goal from the penalty spot this season after four attempts.

Frédèric Brillant scored his first goal of the season in the 54th minute.
